EU reaffirms aid commitments
- The EU has recently adopted "
Speeding up progress towards achieving the MDGs
" which reaffirms the aid commitments to reach the MDGs by 2015. The Conclusions also highlighted trade and emerging issues such as climate change, rising food prices as well as the need to abide with the principles of the Paris Declaration. Bangladesh civil society analysis of draft CSP
- Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangh (BNPS), the Bangladesh focal point for the South Asian Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE) sends analysis of the draft Country Strategy Paper for Bangladesh to the European Parliament. BNPS calls on the parliament to seek revisions to the CS before it is adopted. See
